Christopher Thomas Riner

Christopher Thomas Riner, 64, of Pedro, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Tony Barker on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 11 am at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Haverhill Cemetery, Franklin Furnace, Ohio. Chris was born on July 24, 1959 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Andrew Lee and Rita Joann Meadows Riner. He enjoyed playing tennis and his work at the hospital. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Judith Lynn Hunter and Brenda Sue Anderson; and his furry friend, Sam. He is survived by his siblings, Drema Lee Cunningham, Robert Alan Riner, James Andrew Riner, Linda Lou Riner, and Roxanne Lee Riner;  several nieces and nephews; a special friend, Tony Hopper; Bridget and Chris and a host of St. Mary's friends; and his fur-children, Reese and Hank. Chris worked at St. Mary's Hospital as a nursing PCS for nearly 40 years where he made many friends along the way.
