Clara Helen Adkins

Clara Helen Adkins, 81 of the Guyandotte area of Huntington, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am Saturday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Father Paul Youn Yuenger. She was born November 27, 1934 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Charles London and Tennessee Lewis Chambers. She was a homemaker and a Catholic by faith. Preceding her in death was her husband Herman E. Adkins, and one daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and Roger Arthur. Those that survive her include, two sons, Larry ( Margaret) Ball of Huntington, John Ray (Hilda) Bowman of Lesage, WV. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren: Peggy Arthur, Carla Arthur, Jason Arthur, Carmen Hendrick, Robert Lyons, Jennifer Jones and J.R. Bowman, also step-grandchildren, Eric Hilton, Tammy Morris and Melissa Morrison and ten great grandchildren.
