Clara U. Barr, 87, of Huntington, passed away on Friday morning, September 1, 2017 in St. Mary’s Medical Center after a battle with cancer. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Richard Sexton. Private burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio. Clara was born November 12, 1929 in Huntington, the daughter of the late Eli and Myrtle Hysell. She was preceded in death by her husband Oval and step-daughter, Doris Hutchinson. Survivors include her son, Gene Barr (Anna), her step-son: Eddie Barr(Barbara), seven grandchildren: Melinda Karnes (Jim), Melanie Briner (Greg), Kim Hutchinson, Ginger Barr Adams (Tim), Angela Canterbury (Mark), Carrie Thacker (Parr), Ryan Barr (Rachel), ten great grandchildren and a very special friend and care giver Janet Brammer.
