Clifford Ray Mechanic

Clifford Ray Mechanic, 73 of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday in St. Marys Medical Center. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Jerry Chapman, burial will follow in Crook Cemetery, Huntington, WV. Clifford was born July 31, 1937 in Cabell County, WV a son of the late Frank and Opal Shaver Mechanic; he was a retired plumbing supervisor with the Mildred Mitchell Bateman Hospital. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Leah Marie Mechanic and one sister Evelyn Kazee. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mary L. Mechanic, three sons, Randy Keith Mechanic, Clifford Patrick (Christy) Mechanic and Mark Anthony Mechanic, all of Huntington; one daughter, Shawna Waller of Chesapeake, OH; six grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by a brother, John (Cathy) Mechanic of Mississippi, two sisters, Billie Talmage of Alabama, and Helen Keating of Tennessee; eight sisters in law; two brothers in law and several nieces and nephews and a special friend Allen Clark.
