Daisy Ellens

Wayne County News Obituary for Monday, November 28, 2005 Daisy Wanda (Edwards) Gibson Ellens, 73, of Kenova went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 25, 2005 in Spurlockville at the home of her son. She was born May 2, 1932 in Kenova a daughter of the late Charles and Arbutus (Cyrus) Edwards. Mrs. Ellens was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by two husbands; Clifford Paul Gibson and Harry Ellens, a son Louis Paul Gibson and an infant daughter. Also three sisters, Agnes Raines, Diane Bocook, Eloise Fuller, and two brothers, Homer Edwards and Billy Edwards. Survivors include her son Steve and �Natalie� Gibson of Spurlockville and her daughter Ruth and �Larry� Billups of Kenova, four beloved grandchildren, LaDonna Stewart, James Billups, Amber Paige Gibson, and Eric Michael Gibson along with two very special great-grandchildren, Jared Stewart and Kyra Stewart. Also surviving are sisters; Betty Lou Pratt and Eleanor Caperton, both of Ohio. Brothers; Carl Edwards of Ceredo, Willard Edwards of Westmoreland, and Charles Bernard Edwards of Cattlettsburg, KY. Funeral services for Mrs. Ellens will be conducted at 1:00pm Monday, November 28, 2005 at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Rev. Leo Gibson officiating.
