Danny Marlin Cassell

Danny Marlin Cassell, 86, of Huntington, WV passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 at his residence.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Reger Funeral Chapel by pastor Phillip Stapleton, Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens.

He was born on February 2, 1938 in Huntington, WV the son of the late William Wallace and Mary Munyon Cassell. He was the youngest of four children. He was preceded by one sister: Faye Cassell and one brother Richard Cassell.

He leaves behind three children Debbie Cassell Baber(John) and Danny Cassell both of Lexington, KY and one son Todd Daniel Cassell of Huntington, WV. Seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren and special nieces and nephews.

He served eight years in the Army Reserves and worked at Pilgrim Glass and retired from Columbia Gas. He was a member of Huntington Christian Church. He was a Champion of Champions for the FOP Golden Gloves and was named citizen of the year from the City of Huntington.

He was deeply loved by many and will be greatly missed and will always be remembered as a great man that loved the Lord Jesus Christ. We were blessed to have him in our lives.
