Daryl Cline

October 12, 1947 — April 17, 2021

On the evening of Saturday, April 17th, 2021, Daryl L. Cline, 73, of Huntington, WV entered the gates of heaven and ran into the loving embrace of his wife of 50 years, Mary Lou Bonene Cline and his son Christopher Joseph Cline. He was also joined by his parents, Leon Burns Cline and Adelaide Mae Case Cline; his brothers Lacy (Peggy) Cline and Gary (Marilyn) Cline; and his sister, Charleen (Vince) Cline Manzi, who had passed before him, and were there to partake in the great reunion. Daryl was no longer burdened by illness or immobility or chronic pain and suffering, and was made whole again in the arms of our Lord. He leaves behind a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Mike Brown of Barboursville; and four grandsons who were the joys of his life: Evan, Connor, Cooper and Brady Brown. He is also survived by his younger brother, Mike (Susan) Cline of Massachusetts; and his sister, Sharon (Julian) Cline O’Dell of Virginia; his aunt, Louise (Doug) Cline Carr of Columbus, OH; and a host of nieces and nephews. Daryl was a voracious reader, political pundit, and had a wicked sense of humor and quick wit which he displayed often. He enjoyed the act of laughter and seeing others engage in it frequently brought him great joy. He was an employee of State Electric Supply Company for many years, where he was a credit manger. Daryl was also a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. A private graveside service will be held in celebration of his life. Entombment will take place in Woodmere Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
