David Michael Layton

David Michael Layton, 37, of Kenova, passed away Sunday December 3, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 2, 1980 in Elgin, Illinois, the son of Richard Layton and the late Dawn Napolitano Layton. He was a construction worker. He loved God, his wife and his children very much. He was a spiritual man. We rejoice in knowing he has made it home. In addition to his mother he is also preceded in death by his father in law Leroy Hitchcock and mother in law Shirley Dawson. Survivors include his wife of nine years Jessica Grace Layton; five sons Christopher Gist, David Layton, II, Michael Stepp, John-Henry Stepp and Vincent Layton; four daughters Claudia Gist, Courtney Gist, Alyssa Layton and Victoria Layton; brother and sister in law Ricky and Sandra Hitchcock.
