David Michael Mahon

David Michael Mahon, 52, of Kenova, WV passed away on December 28, 2013. David was born on December 18, 1961 in Cabell County, WV; the son of Hallie and Phyllis Mahon. David was a transport driver for Safe Light Auto Glass. His passion was baseball. He was a wonderful baseball player, along with his brother Thomas. He was a great fan of Marshall, Dallas Cowboys and the L.A. Dodgers. He was a sports fan thru and thru. David was a Christian and attended Christ Temple Church. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 2 PM at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Waters and Pastor Chuck Lawrence officiating; visitation will begin at noon until service time. Burial will follow at the Dyer Cemetery in East Lynn, WV. David was preceded in death by a baby brother, Craig Allen Mahon and is survived by his parents, his children, Michael David Mahon and Rachael Elizabeth Mahon, his sister Sherri (Vincent) Blatt and his brother Thomas (Tammy) Mahon. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and three very special cousins who were like his brothers: Keith, Jeff and Jarrod Maynard. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home to help pay for David's funeral expenses.
