Dewey Richard Bocook

Dewey Richard Bocook, 73, of Huntington, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor William Spears at 1 pm on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill section of Dock’s Creek Cemetery. Dewey was born on August 18, 1943 in Huntington, WV to the late Hood and Nellie Wilson Bocook. He was a retired sanitation truck driver for the city of Huntington. In addition to his parents Dewey was preceded in death by on brother Charles Bocook. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Goldie Mae Bocook, one son; Jeremy Bocook, one daughter; Serena Bocook, two grandchildren; Andrew Rausch and Heather Floyd, two great grandchildren; Johnny Roberts and Derrick Floyd, one sister; Cora Burns, several nieces and nephews and a special niece; Brenda Bocook.
