Diana Martin Day

Diana Martin Day of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at her home following a long illness of cancer for three years. Born August 4, 1944 in Huntington, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ester V. Martin and George N. Martin, both Cabell County natives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Harold Martin of Huntington. She was employed at Walmart in Wayne County before retirement. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Darrell Day and one brother and sister in law George Martin, Jr. and Cleo Martin. Additional survivors are three sons Kevin Day and his wife, Mary and Mark Day, all of Huntington; Timmy Day and his wife Teresa from Wilson, NC. Five grandsons, Casey Day, Michael Day of Wilson, NC and Tyler, Blake and Nate Day of Huntington. One sister in law, Connie Spitler of Huntington and several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no visitation and services will be private for the family. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
