Donald Harvey Preston

Donald Harvey Preston, 74, beloved husband of Betty Sperry Preston of Kenova died on December 9, 2013 after a brief illness. He was born on October 22, 1939 in Wayne, WV; the son of the late Goodwin Wayne Preston and Nola Staley. Donald is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Susan (Mike) Rampley and two sons, Donnie Preston of NC, and Robbie (Kristi) Preston of Kenova, and one granddaughter and grandson from NC, Shelbi and Brock Preston, and two grandsons from Kenova, Taylor Cassidy and Dylan Preston. Also surviving are two brothers, Bernard Preston of Genoa and Jerry Preston of Kenova. Don retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a rural letter carrier. He was a Christian and member of the Kenova Church of Christ. There will be no services at the request of the family. Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
