Donald Ray Dixon

Donald Ray Dixon, 75, of Huntington, W. Va., passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the Adena Hospital, Chillicothe, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm Saturday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Tim Arthur and Dudley Vititoe. He was born December 10, 1938 in Huntington, W. Va. a son of the late Burton Fulton Dixon, Sr., and Ruby Elizabeth Hetzer Dixon. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Burton Dixon, Jr., Clarence Edward Dixon, Sr. and his twin brother Ronnie Lee Dixon. Survivors include his wife of 39 years Chae Pyon Pak Dixon, a son David Lee Dixon of Texas, three daughters Deborah Lynn Dixon Hogan of Texas, Katherine Marie Dixon Williams of Perez, Texas and Tammy Rae Dixon of Virginia, and three grandchildren Lee Coleman Johnson, II, Shylah Rahchal Johnson and Donald Rashod Johnson all of Huntington. Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 3:00 PM Saturday at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington. The Veterans Honor Guard of American Legion Post 16, Huntington, W. VA. will conduct military rites.
