Donald Ray Pritchard

Donald Ray Pritchard, 64, of Kenova died Monday, December 5, 2011 at the St. Mary�s Medical Center in Huntington. He was born January 17, 1947 in Branchland WV to the late Rev. William H. and Anna Mae (McNeely) Pritchard. He attended the Rock of Salvation Community Church. Mr. Pritchard united in marriage to Rita Scarberry Pritchard who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Junebug Scarberry (Angie) and Donald Ray Pritchard II (Kelsi). Other survivors include brothers Doug Pritchard, Carl Pritchard, and Woody Pritchard along with grandchildren Tyler Allen Scarberry, Mariah Handshaw, Michael Lee Mount, Kavan Mitchem, and �soon to be born� Kimberly Don Scarberry, along with a host of other relatives and many special friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pritchard was preceded in death by brothers; Norman, Gary, James �Yogi�, and Jackie and a sister Barbara Jean Sumler. Mr. Pritchard was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He dearly enjoyed fishing and watching Nascar and will be deeply missed by many. The family would like to thank St. mary�s Pastoral care, the Doctors, Nurses, and all of the staff for their excellent care during this difficult time. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Saturday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Rod Justice officiating. Burial will follow in the Watson Cemetery in Branchland, WV. Pallbearers will be Junebug Scarberry, Rebo Jobe, Jimmy Marcum, Tim �Onion� Ruff, Bub Dishman, and Lawrence �LK� Johnas. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
