Donald Roger Brooks

Donald R. Brooks, 87, of Huntington, husband of Margaret A. Brooks, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024.  He was born August 20, 1937 in Huntington, WV.  He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Marie Hall Brooks; two sisters Virginia Smith and Coleen Wright and two brothers William Brooks and Pat Brooks.  Donald retired after 40 years of service with Orkin Exterminating Service Co.  In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by his children, Donna Harper, Steve Brooks, Barbara (Jon) Hamrick, Brenda (Colin) Wills and Carol Jackson; nine grandchildren Matthew, James, Jordan, Lakin, Kansas, Ethan, Lauren, Alex and Aaron and three great grandchildren, Kairi, Sawyer and Aspen.  Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, is assisting the family with arrangements. Funeral services will be private for the family.  Contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2015 Adams Ave., Huntington, WV 25704.
