Donald Warren Wright

Donald W. Wright, 83, of Huntington, WV departed this life February 22, 2011 at Charleston Area Medical Center. He was a graduate of Ravenswood High School in 1946 and served in the United States Army from 1946 to 1948, of which 9 months were served in Germany. Mr. Wright was a graduate of Kentucky Christian College and preached over 60 years in WV, OH, KY and PA. He was also an Elder at the Ceredo Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Edith Wright, daughter Deborah Ann Wright, and brothers Jesse, Robert, Kenneth, Ralph, and Paul. He is survived by his faithful and devoted wife of more than 62 years Theo Joan Wright, son Stephen Paul Wright (Mary), daughter Donna Jo Adkins (Wendell), son John Thomas Wright (Priscilla), daughter Roxie Mary Wright, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, special cousins Donna and Danny Wright and Joey Kent, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00am Saturday, February 26th at the Ceredo Church of Christ with Minister David Roach officiating. Burial will be in Ravenswood Cemetery, Ravenswood, WV at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be Friday, February 25th from 6:00-8:00pm at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home.
