Dora Ellen Frasher Gilkerson

Dora Ellen Frasher Gilkerson, 82 of Ceredo, WV went home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus on August 28, 2013. She was born November 12, 1930 in Wayne County, a daughter of the late Barney and Edith Frasher. Dora was a member of the New Life Church. She was a faithful Christian Lady and believed passionately in her values and morals. She believed strongly in the power of prayer and spent many hours praying for those she loved. Her best known passion in life was serving the Lord. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Brady Herman Gilkerson, two sons; Brady Richard �Dickey� and Danny J. Gilkerson, several brothers and sisters and three grandchildren; Dreama Gilkerson, Josh Holbrook and Stephanie Gilkerson. She is survived by four sons; James David Gilkerson, of Kenova, Sonny Gilkerson of Ceredo, Michael Gilkerson (Linda) of Ceredo and Steve Gilkerson of Ceredo, seven grandchildren; Davina Gilkerson, Amy Dennison, Brady Gilkerson, Shawn Gilkerson, J. Michelle Hutchens, Angela Badgett, and Michael W. Gilkerson II, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, a lifelong best friend, sister Jean Blevins. Graveside services will be conducted at 5:00pm Friday August 30, 2013 at Gilkerson Family Cemetery in Pritchard with Pastor Darin Fetherolf officiating. Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home is assisting the family. CK 13-041
