Doris Allene Grimm

Doris Allene Grimm, of Proctorville, Ohio, widow of Donald L. “Don” Grimm, SSgt (Ret.), passed away Thursday May 22, 2104 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jerry Chapman. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born in Martin County, KY, a daughter of the late Isom and Cecilia Romans. She was a retired bank teller with the Twentieth St. Bank. Doris was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by three brothers Leonard, Walter and Carl “Buster” Romans and three sisters Verna Copley, Ruth Brown and Thelma Robinson. Survivors include a son and daughter in law Donald “Scot” Grimm and Kimberly Grimm of Proctorville, Ohio; sister in law Agnes Pettit of Toledo, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
