Dorothy O'Dell Johnson

Dorothy Mae O’Dell Johnson, 92 of Huntington, WV, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 at the Putnam Center, Hurricane, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Bill Hunt. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born March 11, 1924 in Wayne County, West Virginia a daughter of the late Albert and Virgie Ross. She was a nurse who had retired from Cabell Huntington Hospital and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church on East Pea Ridge. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence “Bill” O’Dell and her second husband Robert Johnson, one son Donald “Billy” O’Dell and one daughter Donna Jean Hazelett. Survivors include one son Roger O’Dell (Marsha) one son-in-law Billy Jack Hazelett, one daughter-in-law Dottie O’Dell; four special grandchildren: Justina (Rob) Adkins, Carmen (Phillip) McConnell, Marcia (Presley) Stacks, Dustin (Lyndsey) O’Dell and 10 special great grandchildren.
