Douglas "Doug" Eual Spears

Douglas Doug Eual Spears, 61, of Huntington, WV passed away February 7, 2011, in St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington. He was born November 30, 1949 in Lincoln County, West Virginia a son of the late Eual and Cleo Pauline Nelson Spears. He was a retired employee of CSX Railroad and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Those that survive him include, four daughters: Susan Spears McClellan of Huntington, WV, Kristina Blake Autry, Bridgette McNeil and Candice Spears all of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren: Amanda Blake, Robbie Blake, Thomas McNeil, Ayla Goodman, Connor McClellan, Micah McClellan and one grandchild on the way; a great grandson, Roman Williams. In addition,two brothers and two sisters and their spouses survive, Doug; Robert Spears of London Ontario, Canada, Danny (Darlene) Spears of Scottown, OH; Patricia (Earnest) McKenney of Chesapeake, OH and Lisa (Troy) Wilson of Parkville, MO; several nieces and nephews survive as well. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Reger Funeral Chapel, by Rev. Charles Stephens. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Military rites will be performed by the Veterans Honor Guard of American Legion Post 16 and Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Reger Funeral Home.
