Dr. Allen Haygood "Pete" Yarbrough Iii

Dr. Allen Haygood “Pete” Yarbrough III, 73, of Huntington, WV passed away at his residences on Thursday, January 23, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Willie May. Burial will follow at the Artrip Kilgore Cemetery He was born on November 24, 1940 in Huntington, WV the son of the late Allen Haygood Yarbrough II and Emma Margaret Swindler Yarbrough. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death Rachel Yarbrough and his sister: Annabelle Halfacre. Pete was a dentist and owner of the Denture Store a graduate of Marshall University and the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 34 years. He is survived by his wife Rosella Kilgore Yarbrough, one son: Matthew Hopkins, three daughters and sons in law: Samantha Dell Ritchie and Daniel Ritchie, Beth Ann Childers, Amy Mariah Yarbrough and Amanda Ezdora Cunningham and Garrett Cunningham. Nine grandchildren: John, Jacob, and Jude Ritchie, Johnny, Sarah, Jacob, Joseph, Andrew and Dillon. Two brothers and sisters in law: Charles and Kathleen Yarbrough and Richard and Theresa Yarbrough. He was loved his employees, patients and friends. A special thanks to Chris Crigger and Brenda White Friends may call from 2-4 pm Sunday at the Reger Funeral Home.
