Edith Marcum

Edith Marcum, 71, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at St. Marys Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Zion Church of Breeden WV. Burial will follow at Kirk Cemetery, Breeden, WV. Edith was born on May 10, 1940 in Logan WV the daughter of the late Everett and Shirley Kirk Marcum. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her niece: Yvonne Marcum She is survived by her son: John Marcum of Blythe, CA. daughter: Cheryl Simmons and her fianc Aaron Stewart of Chesapeake, OH. Three granddaughter: Ashley Marcum and her fiance Michael Carpenter of South Point, Ohio, Amanda Marcum and Samantha Marcum of Blythe,CA A special grandson; John Thomas Marcum of Proctorville, Ohio, two great grandchildren; Karissa and Jacob Miller. Six brothers: Everette Marcum Jr. of Laurelville, OH. Lowell Thomas, Clarence, Timothy and Jerome Marcum all of Breeden, WV and Lionel Marcum of South Point, Ohio. Two sisters: Patricia Marcum Cloverdale of Columbus, Ohio and Sandra Kay Marcum Deskins of Breeden, WV. Fourteen nieces and nephews.
