Edna Carrol Maddox

Edna Carrol Maddox, 76, of Huntington, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, April 1, 2023. A graveside service will be conducted by Pastor Dustin Clark on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 1 pm at the Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Burial will follow. There will be no procession to the cemetery. Edna was born on December 2, 1946 in Huntington, W.Va. to the late Raymond William and Fonnie Baisden Frazier. She worked as an office clerk for Chandler's. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence T. Maddox, Jr.; one daughter, Kimberly Orme; and one granddaughter, Jessie Crum. She is survived by her daughter, Carissa Orme; her son, Robert Orme; grandchildren that she raised, Jamie (Ryan) McComas and Derek Orme; and grandchildren, Krystal (Scott) Adkins, Katie (Nathan) Nida, Alissa (Yilmaz) Sekerci, Tiara (Joe) Kessell, Dakota Orme, Hannah Orme, Sydney (Phillip) Wilson, Kristen (Adam) Wilson, Charles Wilson, Cera Wilson; 18 great grandchildren, Bryson, Kelsey, Braylea, Eligah, Liam, Aireona, Hunter, Mattlynn, Willow, Rhyland, Teghyn, Beren, Esen, Joshua, Ethan, Nikki, Randy, Lindsay; and soon to be great grandchild, Coby; and a host of nieces and nephews.
