Edna Geraldine "Gerri" Mccomas

Edna Geraldine “Gerri” McComas, of Huntington, WV died Tuesday August 20, 2013 at home. She was born May 9, 1929 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Fleming E. and Caroline (Cora) Wolfe Whitney. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her former husband and father of her children: Glen McComas and their son Stephen McComas; sisters: Louise Fincham and Norma Chaput and her brother: Eugene (Eli) Whitney. She is survived by three devoted children: a daughter: Cathy McComas and two sons: Kevin and Richard McComas all of Huntington and three beloved grandchildren: grandsons: Eric and Brandon McComas of Fayetteville, NC and granddaughter and fianc: Tara McComas (Chuck Crigger) of Huntington. Some of her happiest memories were of living in the Washington DC area and managing a shop there. She later worked in home health care in Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
