EDWARD NORMAN HAUN, 79, of Huntington, went to meet his Heavenly Father, on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Greg Matney on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 6 p.m. at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 93 of Kenova. Burial will follow on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Ashland Cemetery, Ashland, Ohio. Ed was born on September 17, 1938, in Jefferson City, Tenn., to the late DeSota and Bobbi Taylor Haun. He was the head of security for Cabell County Government. He was the co-owner of Ted and Ed’s Pro-Bowl and operator of the pro shop at Ted’s Imperial Lanes. He was a member of the Huntington Bowling Association Hall of Fame and a member of the Pro Bowling Association (PBA). He was a U.S. Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ted Haun. He is survived by his wife, Charity Cook Haun; son Brad Haun and fiance Chandler Workman; step-son Alex Cook; sister Betty (Marv) Hauenstein; sister-in-law Doris Haun; several nieces and nephews; his beloved coworkers at the courthouse; and special friends Jack, Lee, Chip, Bob, Gene, Lyle and Maggie.
