Elfriede Ingrid Beaver

Elfriede Ingrid Beaver, 84, of Huntington, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2024 at her residence.  She was born February 29, 1940 in Vienna, Austria, a daughter of the late Helene Reynolds.  Elfriede, was reared by her grandmother in Austria, until her mother called to have her come join her in the United States.  She was an honor student at Barboursville High School.  After graduation, she then started her working career at Marshall University as a secretary in the Arts and Science Department located in Old Main.  From there she continued her career at Marshall University, eventually working her way up to Administrative Secretary at the Marshall University Medical School.  Alfriede is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Beaver.  Funeral services will be scheduled at a later date.
