Eloise Mckenzie Dickerson

Eloise McKenzie Dickerson, 91, of Kenova died Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born December 6, 1917 in Wayne County a daughter to the late John Henry and Hester Ann Estep McKenzie. Mrs. Dickerson was a member of the 20th Street Baptist Church in Kenova. She united in marriage to Mr. Mack D. Dickerson who preceded her in death on September 2, 1961. To this union were born four sons and two daughters, Donald Dickerson, Russell Dickerson, and Garnett Stickler, who preceded her in death, Homer Dickerson of Portland, TN, John R. �Bobby� Dickerson of Kenova, and Elsie Kessinger of Suisun City, CA. Additional survivors include a sister Mary Dickerson of Litchfield, OH, seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and twelve great great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Friday at the 20th Street Baptist Church in Kenova with Pastor David Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Docks Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Thursday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donation to the Huntington Hospice. These may be made at the funeral home.
