Ernest Luther Hess Sr., 57, of South Point, Ohio died Friday June3, 2011 at Kings Daughter Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 7:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Willie May. Ernest was born on July 27, 1953 in Logan, WV the son of the late James Albert Hess Sr. and Flora Rice Hess. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers; Charles, James Jim, George John and Paris. He is survived by his wife: Rebecca Palmer Hess, one son: Ernest Hess Jr., and a step son: Dennis Blankenship Jr. Six great grandchildren: Cheyenne Hess, Jasmyn Phillips, Autumn, Blake, Dustin and Jonathon One brother: Paul Hess and three sisters: Nancy Ellen Adkins, Patsy Lucas, Margaret Robinson and Brenda Hess.
