Ester Jewell Thacker

Ester Jewell Thacker, 81 went home to be with the Lord, on Monday, August 15, 2016. She was born November 11, 1934 a daughter of the late Ozy and Meletha Ann Smith. She was a also preceded in death by her husband Ernest A. Thacker and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include two loving sisters Alpha Adkins and Lorene Chapman, one son Ernest A. Thacker of Proctorville, three daughters, Linda Poe of South Point, Brinda Sullivan of Willow wood , Deborah Nance of Huntington and a host of nieces and nephews, eleven grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren. We take peace in knowing that she is now walking in heaven pain free with her loved ones and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jerry Matt. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
