Everett Adkins

Everett Adkins, 81 of Kenova, WV passed away on December 30, 2014 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born on May 6, 1933 in Lackeyville, KY; a son of Herbert Adkins and Sadie Lucille Varney. Everett was married to the love of his life, Ermalene, for 63 years. He honorably served his beloved country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. He was a carpenter in the Carpenter�s Local 302. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ellis Adkins (Jerry Lou) and his brother-in-law, Milton Pulley. Everett leaves behind to mourn his loss his beloved wife, Ermalene; their only child, Dolores Ann Lowe (David) of Teays Valley, WV; 2 grandchildren, April Withrow (Justin) and Matthew Lowe (Jessica); and 2 great-grandchildren, Olivia Withrow and Jace Withrow. Also surviving are his brothers Earl Adkins (Sharla) and Glen Adkins (Jennifer); his sisters Edith Pulley and Geraldine Light (Don) and a special sister-in-law Janice Riggs. A memorial service for Everett will be held at the Kenova Church of God, at which he was a member, 16th and Maple Streets at 2 PM on Saturday, January 3, 2015.
