Everett Dewey Daniels

Everett Daniels, 96, of Huntington, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home Saturday morning November 11, 2023 and has now been reunited with his bride of 68 years Nelda Wiseman Daniels.

Everett was born on January 16, 1927 in Harper, WV in rural Raleigh County, WV to his parents Nevi and Lana Dickens Daniels of Beckley, WV.  He was preceded in death by a brother Clarence Daniels.  He is survived by a sister-in-law, Norma Morgan of Huntington and nephews Jeffrey Zang and Jimmie Morgan, Jr both of Huntington and a special friend Dale Burd of Proctorville, OH.  After serving in the United States Army, he married his childhood sweetheart and they moved to Huntington where he began his lifelong career at American Car and Foundry, he also was employed as a carpenter at Jim Walter Homes. Everett also designed, assembled and sold many homemade wood crafts made from his basement woodworking shop. Everett also attended Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church.  There will be no visitation at his request. Graveside committal service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington, WV, at 2 pm Thursday, November 16, 2023.  Reger Funeral Home, Huntington is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com.
