Fannie Plybon, 74, of Huntington, widow of Walter “Gene” Plybon, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday November 17, 2018 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born January 31, 1944 in Huntington, a daughter of the late George W. Wylie and Dessie Allen Hanley. Fannie was a homemaker. She was a member of the Central Freewill Baptist Church, where she was the past secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary. Fannie was a faithful Prayer Warrior and along with her late husband Gene, participated in the Bus Ministry. In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by a sister Georgeanna Oberdick. Survivors include two daughters and sons in law Tina and Carl Tooley of South Point, Ohio and Teresa and Larry Sarver of Hurricane, WV; son Jerry Plybon of Charleston, SC; grandchildren and their spouses Tiffany (Rick) Dillon, Carl Tooley, Ashley (Andrew) Spears, Derek Sarver and Jayme Sarver; great grandchildren Isaiah Dillon, Carlee Dillon, Hunter Tooley and Brayden Spears; sister Ruth Tate of Spartanburg, SC; many brothers and sisters in law including a special sister in law Lorene Plybon. Friends may call from 11 am until service time on Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.
