Fern Veronica Mothershed

Fern Veronica Mothershed, 68 of Charles Town, WV passed away on August 16, 2017 at Berkeley Medical Center, Martinsburg, WV. She was born on November 6, 1948 in Jefferson County, WV; a daughter of Henry Ware Price and Pauline Jane Russell. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ersel E. Mothershed; her daughter, Carol Jane Price, and her siblings. Fern leaves behind to mourn her loss, her children: Gerald Glenn "Hawk" Rankin Jr., and Jeanie Ann Riley (Charles E. Riley III); her grandchildren: Charles E. Riley IV, Victoria A. Riley. Dennis A. Miller, Tiffany R. Miller, David Lee Grandell, Marcus Rankin and Anthony Pennington. Also surviving are her sister, Linda Anderson (Bruce), and her brother, Gary Chopin; her step-daughters, Ann Huff and Donna Mothershed; her great-grandchild, Dennis Andrew Miller Jr.; and her friends, Douglas Brown and June Duranko. Her wishes were to be cremated and Tri-State Cremation Society will honor her wishes.17-048
