Flora W. Brown

Flora W. Brown, 78, of Ceredo, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the King�s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. She was born April 14, 1932 in Huntington, WV to the late Virgil George Washington Runyon and Rosena (Gue) Cochrun. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband Conrad Brown. She worked for 28 years at the Western Electric Company in Columbus where she retired in 1988. She was a member of the Ceredo United Methodist Church. She enjoyed �spending time with the girls� at the Westmoreland Senior Center and playing Bingo. Survivors include two daughters; Brenda (Donald) Sherwood of New York, and Rebecca Wallace of Columbus, along with a son; Michael Wallace of Florida. In addition to her children, she is survived by five sisters, Ginger, Phyllis, Debbie, Dinah, and Lisa, along with a brother Woody, six grandchildren, Melissa (Jon) Sherwood, Bryan (Jamie) Sherwood, Jennifer (David) Gray, Nicholas, Joseph, & Jonathan Wallace, along with 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Vickie Wallace. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Tuesday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Byard officiating. Burial will follow in the Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6pm Monday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home.
