Florence June Noble

Florence June Goolsby Noble, 89, of Huntington was called to heaven on Sunday, October 16, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 12 PM at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Ron Jenkins. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Florence was born in Huntington, WV on June 3, 1927 to the late William and Gladys Kessinger Goolsby. June worked and retired after 34 years from Owens Illinois Glass Factory in Huntington. She enjoyed making porcelain dolls, quilting, sewing, crocheting, needlepoint, and painting at times. She was baptized on March 5, 1989 and attended Christ Temple Church. She loved praising and worshipping the Lord. Her joy and love was her family and the memories of those even long past. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 58 years Norman “Red” Noble; brothers William “Bill” Goolsby, Melvin “Bud” Goolsby; sisters Elva “Charlene” Goolsby Millman “Juanita” Faye Goolsby Wallace and Patricia “Pat” Goolsby Hall. She is survived by two sons and one daughter. Johnny Edward (Sherri) Noble, Veisa Gay Noble (Todd) Simenson all of Huntington and Norman “Ed” (Stacy) Noble Jr. of Vilonia, AR.; a brother Oda Sadler of Lesage, WV. Eight grandchildren: Kristy Noble (Marc) Ellison of Huntington; Tara Noble (Bobby) Hensley of Huntington; Shelley Ross (Cliff) Carpenter of Morgantown, WV; Dustin Neil Noble of Huntington; Misty Noble (Justin) Riddle of Scott Depot, WV; Brittney Noble Nobles of Vilonia, AR.; Sherilyn Simenson (Charlie) See of Huntington; Virgil Simenson of Seattle, WA and fourteen great-grandchildren. The family would like to invite family and friends to a gathering after the service at 1525 Greenbriar Dr. Huntington, WV 25704.
