The family has elected to postpone the Celebration of Life service for Frank Horton until Friday due to inclement weather and unsafe driving conditions. Franklin "Frank" Lewis Horton, 73, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Thursday February 13, 2025 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.  He was born September 21, 1951, in Chillicothe, Ohio, a son of the late Isaac Frank and Ruth Alma Click Horton.  Frank was a self employed computer programmer and systems analyst, having worked for such companies as IBM, Ashland Oil, SuperAmerica, City of Huntington, American Benefit Corp. and Software Systems.  He was also a member of Grace Gospel Church.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister Sandra Dee Horton.  Survivors include his wife of 49 1/2 years, Connie Jo Cole Horton; three children Lyndsay Rusden (Allen), Jed Horton (Brittany) and Nathaniel Horton; five grandchildren Chapel and Bexley Rushden and Adelyn, Lilly and Finley Horton and a host of friends from Grace Gospel Church.  A Celebration of Life will be conducted by Pastor Keith Wiebe, Jr. at 11 am Monday at Grace Gospel Church.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time at the church.  Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, is assisting the family with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made for the Frank Horton Scholarship at the Grace Christian School, 1111 Adams Ave., Huntington, WV, 25704.
