Garnett Hatten

Garnett Hatten, 94, of Kenova, WV, passed away Saturday March 11, 2017 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday at Cyrus Cemetery, Wayne County, WV, by Brother Terry Meredith. Burial will follow. She was born May 10, 1922 in Wayne County, WV, a daughter of the late Cullie and Josephine Carver Meredith. She was a caregiver. Survivors include her daughter and son in law Nellie and Ed Gilkerson and son and daughter in law Cullie and Jonnie D. Hatten; sister Mona Vipperman and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or procession to the cemetery.
