George Anderson Alley, Jr.

George Anderson Alley, Jr., 86, of Kenova, WV, husband of Amy Sager Alley, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at his residence.  He was born June 30, 1938, in Beckley, WV, a son of the late George Anderson Alley, Sr. and Margaret Maxine Maxwell Alley.  George was the owner/operator of Alley Trucking Co.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by children Sherry Rice, Renee Luxton, Carolyn Johnson and Ryamond Johnson, Jr.; grandchildren Randy Johnson, Jr. and Brian Weiss and sisters Margie Craig and Lena Huffmaster.  Additional survivors include his children Evelyn Gail Beach (Dan), Richard Anderson Alley (Dana), Dale Johnson (Shirley), Rodney Johnson, Randy Johnson (Meredith), John Alley (Stacy) and Jessi Rose Alley and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews and a special dog "Dixie".
