George Britton Day Iii

George Britton Day III, 61, of Huntington, formerly of Springhill, Louisiana, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 7, 2023 at St. Mary's Medical Center. A graveside service will be conducted at a later date at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow. Britt was born on March 12, 1962. He was raised by the late, George Britton Day II and Shirley Magee Day Johnson. Britt was the minister for Anchor of Hope Pentecostal Church of God in Louisiana. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Day; sister, Melanie Bateman; and nephew, Brandon Steslow. He is survived by his step-mother, Faye Day; sister-in-law, Charmarie (Todd) Adkins, with whom he made his home; brother-in-law, Paul Easton; two nephews, Forrest Steslow and Dallas Bateman; and numerous cousins.
