George Ellwood Mckee

George Ellwood McKee, 88, of Ashland, passed away Monday February 22, 2016 at Community Hospice, Ashland, KY. He was born January 16, 1928, in New Albany, Ohio, a son of the late Walter Edward and Carrie Ellen Smothers McKee. He was a retired employee of ARMCO Steel. George was also a US Navy Veteran having served during WWII. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a step son John Suttles; two brothers Robert and Walter McKee and two sisters Betty Jane Wiley and Ellen Carrie Iles. Survivors include his wife Jacki Wheeler Suttles McKee, step children Jamie and Joe Suttles and family and sister Joan Heyer of Oklahoma.
