Gerard "Jerry" Angel

Gerard Anthony “Jerry” Angel, 80, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pa., passed away Friday April 12, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Huntington, by Father Dean Borgmeyer. Burial will be at a later date. Jerry was born January 5, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Joseph and Ruth Sell Angel. He was a purchasing supervisor for ACF Industries. Jerry was a US Army Veteran having served during the Korean War and a member of the American Legion Post 16 of Huntington, the Howard P. Hall VFW Post 1064 of Huntington and the 40 & 8 Voiture #1036 of Huntington. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Edward Angel and a sister Mary Letwin. Survivors include his wife Alice Niemiec Angel and a niece Ruth Angel. Friends may call from 10 am until service time on Tuesday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
