Gladys Ethel Marsh

Gladys Ethel Marsh, 87 of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Rivers Bend Health Care, South Point, Ohio. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, at the Reger Funeral Chapel, by Pastor Keith Leap. Burial will follow in Susies Chapel Cemetery, 16th Street Road, Huntington,WV. Gladys was born April 19, 1924 in Ft. Gay, WV a daughter of the late Ronald Vicars and the late Mildred Raines Jarrell. She was a retired comptroller from Owens Illinois Glass Company. In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband John Wesley Marsh, and two sisters, Marie Hazelett and Madaline Vicars. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Pat Lyons of Proctorville, Ohio; daughter Jo Ann Ross of Wayne, WV. ; Five grandchildren, Ronald G. Lyons, II, Robin Queen, Keith Ross, Greg Ross and Dawn Unangst. Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren, Kayla Queen, Taylor Queen, Casey Queen, Georgina Lyons, Jonna Marie Lyons, Brandon Lyons, Kaitlyn Ross, and Rebecca Ross; two great-great grandchildren, Kira Martin, Tianna Martin; and one brother and sister-in-law, William and Frances Vicars of Wellston, Ohio as well as two special nephews Roger and Terry Hazlett.
