Glen Freeman Toppins “High Pockets”, 82, of Huntington passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Stewart Farley on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Glen was born on April 1, 1936 in Wayne County, W.Va., to the late Tracy and Hessie Maynard Toppins. Glen was a retired steel worker for Steel of West Virginia. He is survived by his wife Ruth Ann Prince Toppins; four children, Glenn and Lisa Toppins, Gary and Beth Toppins, Greg and Lisa Toppins, and Beth and Eric Hutchinson; grandchildren, Chase, Garrett, Hope, Hannah, Zac Toppins, Emily, Ben, Sarah, Ella Hutchinson, Jordan and Cody Houchin, and Logan and Josh Canterbury; siblings, Leaetta Collins, Dorothy Bentley, Darline Wilson, Tracy and Loretta Toppins; and a host of friends.
