Glenna Mae Combs

Glenna Mae Combs, 94, of Huntington, W.Va. passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at her home in Westmoreland. She was born in Martin Co., Ky., the daughter of the late John and Mary Mildred Newman Combs. Also, preceding her in death are her husband Everett M. Combs, daughter and son-in-law Juanita and Herman Gwinn, son Clifford H. Combs, daughter-in-law Ella Combs, son-in-law Murray Hunter, and seven brothers. She is survived by three daughters: Joann Fouch, Sandra Loy and Ruth Hunter: four sons, Everett Combs Jr., (Joann), Jack Combs (Bertha), Fred Combs (Linda), Ronald Combs (Sandy): 34 grandchildren: 53 great grandchildren: l8 great great grandchildren. Glenna was a lifelong homemaker, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a wonderful and caring person who put smiles on the faces of everyone who met her. She dedicated her life to God and family, always being there when she was needed. Her kindness set an example for all those around her to follow. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family and loved ones and will be forever remembered in the hearts of those many lives she touched. Her long and prosperous life is one to be celebrated, as she has been called to enter the Kingdom of God. Funeral services will be conducted at 12p.m. Saturday at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Chaplin Kit Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Foster Cemetery; Wayne Co. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 at the funeral home
