Gregory Chapman

November 13, 1960 — March 14, 2018

Gregory H. Chapman , 57, of Huntington, WV went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2018 at 11:34 p.m., at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, W.Va., after his battle with cancer. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Samuel H. Chapman; a sister, Ruth Aileen Martin; and a son, Jacob Chapman Bolin. Surviving family includes his mother, Ruth McCoy Chapman; two sisters, Vicky Short (Larry Short) of N.C., and Deborah Persun (Bob Persun) of N.C.; three brothers, Dana Chapman of Huntington W.Va., Duane Chapman Of Huntington W.Va., and Todd Chapman of N.C.; his partner of many years, Nancy Bolin of Huntington W.Va.; her daughter, Hazel Coriell (step-daughter); two beautiful step-granddaughters, Ashley Coriell and Zoe Coriell; he is the father of Seth Cart of Tenn., Brent Muldavin of Calif., and Kea Chapman Bolin of W.Va., and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. He was loved by many and will be missed. Greg was a kind and gentle soul and truly loved his family. A special thank you to the staff and nurses at Cabell Huntington Hospital and especially Travis and Laura at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House you made our loss bearable with your kindness and compassion, To his family that was there at every turn with him thank you for your love and support. There will not be a public service, in lieu of flowers and donations please give to the Cancer Foundation in his memory, as for our family lift us up in prayer and hold your loved ones tight. Until we meet again you are loved, Fly High on the Mountain.
