Guy Fannin

Melvin B. “Guy” Fannin, 97, of Huntington, passed away Tuesday June 16, 2015 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 PM Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. He was born December 14, 1917 in Hazard County, KY., a son of the late R A and Hattie Craft Fannin. Guy was the owner and operator of Fannin’s Junk Yard. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Anna Lee Adkins Fannin; three sons Dick Fannin, Jerry Fannin and Ronnie Fannin and five brothers and two sisters. Survivors include a daughter Phyllis Hitchcock; a son Troy Johnson; grandchildren Stephanie, Scott, Michael, Roger, Ronnie, Chuck, Leslie and Kelly and ten great grandchildren.
