Helen Frances Bowen

Helen Frances Bowen, 71, of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will conducted at 11 am Saturday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Dave Schug, Rev. Lonnie Berry and Rev. Jeremy Simpson. Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. She was born December 1, 1945 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Rev. James O. Sizemore and Bessie Brock Sizemore. Helen was a retired employee of First Bank of Ceredo. She attended Woodland Chapel Freewill Baptist Church of Ironton and Good Shepherd Freewill Baptist of Huntington. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sister Anna Mae Leach. Survivors include her husband of 48 years Albert F. “Sonny” Bowen; son and daughter in law Albert F. “Frankie” Bowen, Jr. and Salina Bowen of Doniphan, Missouri; daughter and son in law Francie and Todd Milum of Kenova, WV; grandchildren Kodie and Isaac Bowen and Alex, Jeremiah and Wyatt Milum; two brothers and a sister in law Orville Sizemore of Barboursville, WV and James and Shirley Sizemore of Troy, Ohio; sister Lavina Bowen of Huntington and several nieces and nephews including Renee McNeeley of Lesage, WV.
