Helen Linville

Helen Linville, 91, of Huntington, joined her loving husband in Heaven, on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at her residence. A graveside funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Hamlet Smith on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 3 pm at Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Burial will follow. Helen was born on April 6, 1931 in Ona, W.Va., to the late Manford Eugene and Clarissa Mildred Woodard. Helen retired from Corbin Limited where she worked as a seamstress. Helen liked to read and solve puzzles, this included completing the crossword puzzle in ink. She also collected coffee cups and maintained an extensive collection. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Max Linville; one brother, Earl; and three sisters, Mary, Verna, Della. She is survived by her children, Patricia Linville, Donna (Terry "OJ") Raines with whom she made her home, and Max "Buddy" (Teresa "Tracy") Linville; four grandchildren, Melanie Thacker, Abby (Tom) Raines, Terry "TJ" (Kaytee) Raines, Jr., and Callie Linville; two great grandchildren, Caleb (Samantha) Thacker and Derrian Rouse; five great great-grandchildren, Ava, Emma, Mila, Tobiah, and Elijah Thacker; one brother, Wayne Woodard; one sister, Phyllis Collins; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 6-8 pm at the Reger Funeral Home Ceredo-Kenova Chapel, Ceredo. W.Va.
