Helen M. Coder

Mrs. Helen M. Quickel Coder, 87, of Huntington passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born April 28, 1919 in Ohio, a daughter to the late Frank and Nellie (Jacobs) Quickel. Mrs. Coder was a member of the Charity Rebekah Lodge in Huntington and a member of the Pythian Sisters of Gallipolis, OH. She is preceded in death by her husband Lee W. "Bob" Coder, her son Robert Lee Coder, and three brothers, Frank Quickel, Don Quickel, and Earl Quickel. Survivors include her daughter Eldonna Jean Washington, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Ms. Coder will be conducted at 10:00 am Saturday, May 20, 2006 at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Gardens in Vinton, OH. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, May 19, 2006 at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home.
