Hester Riggs Dale

Mrs. Hester Riggs Dale, 75, of Kenova, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at her residence. She was born April 21, 1933 in Kenova to the late Herbert B. and Martha Rowe Riggs. She united in marriage to Mr. Harlan Dale who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Jean Mauk and a sister, Betty Smith. Survivors include two sisters, Connie (Dewey) Romans of Kenova and Frances (Frank) Orndorff of Leslie, WV; and a brother, Charles (Nola) Riggs of Lavalette, WV. Additional survivors include ten nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and great nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM Saturday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9pm Friday at the funeral home.
